A new release for 2024, this set of 32 cards features iconic computers from Zuse Z3, the first electromechanical programmable computer; to The Raspberry Pi 5, a computer which fits in the palm of your hand. Each card features key stats about the computer’s CPU, memory and storage. By playing games such as classic Trumps, you will begin to learn more about what makes one computer perform “better” than another.
The learning does not stop there; each card is also numbered in binary and hexadecimal allowing for more complex games such as a variation on the game known as “21”. You can also use these numbered cards to practice searching and sorting algorithms e.g. Linear search, binary search, insertion sort, merge sort and bubble sort.
Videos for these different games can be found on the How to play page and concise instructions for Computer Trumps and 31 are included in the pack.
